Warming Whaiora smoothie bowl

We like to think we’ve invented the world’s first warm smoothie. For a delicious warming breakfast idea, try the recipe below and let us know what you think!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of Gold Whaiora smoothie blend powder
  • 250ml of water.

Directions:

  1. Mix Gold Whaiora smoothie powder and water together in a blender for 30 seconds
  2. Pour the blended mixture into a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds on high (Please note the power of microwave ovens may vary, so adjust times accordingly)
  3. Remove from microwave, stir and return to the microwave for a further 30 seconds on high
  4. Serve with your favourite toppings
  5. That’s it! Easy.

Topping suggestions:

You can put almost anything on our delicious and nutritious warming smoothie bowls! But here are some of our favourites:

1 Tbsp shredded coconut
1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp LSA mix (or chia seeds)
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp turmeric

Or try combining:

1 Tbsp chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp shredded coconut
1 Tbsp chopped freeze dried raspberries
