Black Forest Bliss Balls

You don't just have to make smoothies with our blends! Get creative with these delicious Black Forest Bliss Balls, they are such an easy on the go snack that will keep you fueled for the day ahead. 

Makes 8 balls (30g) 

1/4 cup raw almonds 
1/4 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup medjool dates (100g) 
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted and cooled 
1 tbsp cacao powder or cocoa 
2 tbsp Whaiora Berry blend 

To serve (optional)
Melted dark chocolate, crushed almonds, freeze dried boysenberry powder or cacao powder. 

1. Place nuts in a food processor and blitz to a fine crumb, make sure you do not over mix as it will form a nut butter. Add dates and blitz to form a smooth paste. 

2. Add coconut oil and mix to combine. Then add the cacao powder and Whaiora Berry blend and mix to combine. 

3. Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls. store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer, lined with baking paper.
